A highly anticipated touching family oriented drama movie will be released in theaters May 23, 2025, Memorial Day weekend. The movie was produced by Angel Studios and filmed in Oklahoma. About rodeo bull riders, the movie was made in collaboration with the Professional Bull Riding Association.

Jon Avnet directed the film and co-wrote it with Neal McDonough who is the leading actor in the movie. Neal McDonough states: “This film has an incredible heart with a universal message of love, vulnerability, and reconciliation that the world so desperately needs today.”
The story is about retired former world champion bull rider Joe Wainwright, played by McDonough, who enters a high stakes bull-riding competition to earn money to save his grandson Cory with a brain tumor. Joe’s estranged daughter Sally, played by Sarah Jones, cannot afford the operation which her insurance will not fully cover. To enter the competition, Joe must re-connect with an estranged bull-rider friend Charlie Williams, played by Mykelti Williamson.
Despite his strained relationships with his daughter and friend Charlie, Joe must confront his demons and consider the greatest sacrifice for his family. Along the way he prevails and proves that real courage lies in family.
