Knox Goes Away – 2024 movie release

Michael Keaton is releasing his second movie as a producer, director, and actor. Knox Goes Away is a neo-noir crime thriller to be released in U.S. theaters March 15, 2024 by Sabin Films. FilmNation is doing the international distribution. The movie was filmed in Los Angeles and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2023.

The story is about contract killer John Knox, played by Keaton, who is mentally deteriorating from a form of dementia. He tries to make amends for his life by saving the life of his estranged son Miles, played by James Marsden, from a vengeance killing. Knox is aided by his friend Xavier played by Al Pacino.

American actor and director Michael Keaton is known for his leading roles in a wide variety of genre films. He has received an Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards, in addition to nominations for an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award. His best known roles in films include Beetlejuice, Birdman, The Founder, Spotlight, Batman, and others.

Gregory Poirier is the movie’s screenwriter. Poitier in an American award winning television and film writer. He is best known for On Fire, Rosewood, National Treasure 1 and 2, Gossip, Awake, and others.
