“Higher”, new Michael Buble album

In case you haven’t heard, Crooner Michael Buble has a new album. It was released in March, 2022. He does the usual cover songs with his usual panache. He’s also included a few of his songs. “Higher” (my personal favorite) is a sexy, dance tune that will have you tapping your feet and dreaming of doing an erotic tango in the moonlight with a beautiful person of your choice. His hit, “I’ll Never Not Love You” is not only an impassioned, beautiful song but uplifting as well. The song “Mother” is a tribute to where he honors the strong women that surround him.

His covers are reimagined classics with a touch of flare that only he can add. They include BarryWhite’s “You’re My First, My Last, My Everything”, and “My Valentine” produced and original ysung by Sir Paul McCartney. Also included is Duke Ellington and His Orchestra, “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore”.

The music is danceable, light, joyful, and romantic. It’s nice to have Michael back after a 3-year hiatus. A very highly recommended buy for all who love jazzy music.

Thank you, Michael Buble, it’s fabulous to hear your voice again.
