The much anticipated spy thriller movie Black Bag, directed by Steven Soderbergh, will be released in theaters March 14, 2025. Critically acclaimed actors Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender perform the leading roles as spies caught in a dangerous labyrinth of intrigue, lies, and betrayal. The movie has been described as having clandestine spycraft, suspense, explosive action, intense drama and emotion, intimate character development, plot twists and turns, and keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. The film challenges the audience to determine the true intensions of the characters.
Black Bag was produced in London in 2024 with an A-list cast of actors and is being released by Focus Features and Universal Pictures. The film was written by the celebrated blockbuster screenwriter David Koepp.
