Upcoming movie in 2022
The lovable, quirky Southern detective Benoit Blanc is back on a new case in a sequel to the popular Knives Out (2019) movie. Writer-director Rian Johnson and actor Daniel Craig have teamed up again for the upcoming Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, to be premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022 and released later in the year.
The movie takes Detective Benoit Bland on a new case in Greece. It does not involve the former Knives Out, it is a stand-alone film with a new location and new cast members. There is a planned third film in the series in 2024.
The Glass Onion has an ensemble cast including Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odum, Jessica Henwick, Madeline Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautisa.
