The story is about a couple’s vacation at a secluded estate that is disrupted when they are forced to share the mansion with a mysterious couple. The foursome play a game that turns into a dangerous nightmare of sex, lies, and manipulation that triggers a battle for survival.

“Coyotes”, October 3
The tongue-in-cheek dark comedy horror movie “Coyotes” directed by Colin Mininan will be released in U.S. theaters on October 3, 2025. The film includes a cast of Justin Long (known for Galaxy Quest, Live Free or Die Hard, Tusk), Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns), Mila Harris, Brittany Allen, and Katherine McNamara.
Trapped in their Hollywood Hills home, a family fights for survival caught between a raging wildfire and a pack of savage coyotes. A scary but funny movie.

“Shell”, October 3
Another horror thriller movie to be released on October 3, 2025 is “Shell”. The movie stars a steller cast of Elizabet Moss (known for Madmen and The Handmaid’s Tale), Kate Hudson (Fool’s Gold and Bride Wars), Kaia Gerber, and Elizabeth Berkley. The director is Max Minghella known for Babylon, The Social Network, and The Ides of March.
“Shell” tells the story of once beloved actress Samantha Lake drawn into the glamorous world of wellness mogul Zoe Shannon. She uncovers a monstrous truth beneath its flawless surface.
Creepy and suspenseful mystery which turns into a nightmare.

“Frankenstein”, October 17
Acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro’s film adaptation of Mary’s Shelley’s 1818 classic gothic novel “Frankenstein” will be released in U.S. theaters on October, 17, 2025. Del Toro is known for Pan’s Labrinth, Hellboy, and the Shape of Water.
The famous tale is about a brilliant but egotistical scientist Dr. Victor Frankenstein who plays God and brings a human creature to life in a monstrous experiment. The ensuing conflict leads to the undoing of both the creator and the tragic creature.
Del Toro stays fairly true to the original Mary Shelley story, but with more suspense, violence, and gothic horror. Masterful film. Beautiful steampunk set designs and period costumes, it is visually stunning.
Oscar Isaac plays Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi plays the creature. Isaac is known for Star Was, Ex machina, and Dune. Other cast members include Mia Goth, Cristoph Watz, Felix Kammerer, Ralph Ineson, and Charles Dance.

“Black Phone 2”, October 17
“Black Phone 2” is a supernatural horror film that will be released on October 17, 2025. The movie is a sequel to “The Black Phone” (2021) with the same director and cast. Scott Derrickson is the director known for The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Doctor Strange, and The Black Phone. The film stars Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Miguel Mora, and Jeremy Davies reprising their roles, with Demián Bichir and Arianna Rivas joining the cast.
Ethan Hawke provides an excellent performance as The Grabber serial killer in both movies. He is known for Training Day, Dead Poets Society, and Gattica.
In the first movie set four years before Finn killed the serial killer The Grabber. Finn, now 17, struggles with life after his captivity. His sister begins receiving calls in her dreams from the Black Phone. She envisions three boys stalked in a winter camp known as Alpine Lake. The Grabber returns as an evil spirit.

“Shelby Oaks”, October 24
“Shelby Oaks” is a supernatural horror movie that has received positive critical reviews. The film will be released in U.S. theaters on October 24, 2025. Chris Stuckman is the director with a cast of Camille Sullivan, Brenden Sexton, Michael Beach, Robin Bartlett, and Keith Daw.
A women’s search for her long lost sister falls into obsession upon realizing that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real.
Eerie, haunting, suspenseful. It will get under your skin.
